Kamedi GmbH has developed a tiny device to quell the itch caused by bites and stings  from mosquitos, horseflies, wasps and bees. It uses heat to stop the itch rather than a topical lotion or spray.

Kamedi’s Heat It device is attached to a smartphone.
What makes Kamedi’s Heat It device different from other tools in the category is the portability factor.

The device is plugged into a smartphone and it works with a connected app that tells the user when it is ready to be applied. Currently available on Amazon, it will be available at REI this year, according to CEO Lukas Liedtke, who was at CES in Las Vegas in January 2023.

Liedtke was at CES showing the device to attendees at Eureka Park (see below).

Kamedi GmbH manufactures the device in Germany and has US subsidiary in Wilimington, DE.
